Yeah we come here to get a PhD because now the US is the place to get an education not Germany. But because getting a visa is getting harder, Germany is flooded with Chinese students who first have to learn German (I have a friend who teaches them).

The problem is that the US makes it hard to come here if you are educated. The large numbers come in the illegal route (and family reunion) and educated people ain't going to do that.
