Black Writer Speaks Out About Janice Rogers Brown

In the October 2003 edition of ''The Black Commentator,'' a hit piece ran concerning Janice Rogers Brown, a black woman nominated for the D.C. Court of Appeals.
Again, I find myself having to repeat what I have said all along: liberal blacks (and some condescending whites) believe since we all look alike, we should think and vote alike. Janice Rogers Brown is a Bush-nominated conservative, therefore, she is the enemy. Funny how whites can belong to any political party they wish: Democrat, Republican, Green, Socialist, and Independent…. However, blacks, in the liberal world, are allowed no chance for independent thought. Just find the only seats they tell us are still available on the bus: those near the back.
Here are some of the nasty commnets that liberals have made about Judge Brown:
California state judge Rogers Brown ''has such an atrocious civil rights record she makes Clarence Thomas look like Thurgood Marshall.''

"She's cut from the same cloth as Clarence Thomas."
- Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC)
“Janice Brown is frightening, like Clarence Thomas. So we put a fright wig on Thomas and called it Janice Brown.”

The unattributed column that opined Janice Rogers Brown is to the right of Thomas and Antonin Scalia cites a study by a liberal advocacy group.
“Her many disturbing dissents, often not joined by a single other justice, make it clear that she would use the power of an appeals court seat to try to erect significant barriers for victims of discrimination to seek justice in the courts, and to push an agenda that would undermine privacy, equal protection under the law, environmental protection, and much more.”

In other words, the other judges on the bench were probably all liberals, and she disagreed with almost everything on the liberal agenda. That makes her dangerous.

If I may butt in for a second, what is Chucky talking about? Aside from the focus-grouped jargon that is known to grab the attention of tuned-out blacks, who has not turned back the clock, but just unplugged it? It’s been Schumer, Holmes-Norton, Watson, and their liberal cohorts who see blacks as stray pets.
Conservative blacks have been trying to ''turn back the clock'' and give parents the same choice liberal house Negros have and free their kids from public schools through the vouchers they want but are denied by black Democrats who whore themselves to teacher union money.
Janice Brown bears an uncanny political resemblance to Ward Connerly, another infamous Black character from the bootlicking quarters of California, whose Proposition 54 initiative to erase race from the public records of the state was defeated in the recent recall election. Brown shares with Connerly the belief that the constitution does not allow affirmative action, but rather, “equality of individual opportunity."

Now ''equality of individual opportunity'' would be a threat to black liberals who keep their power by keeping their own people down.
I personally believe that blacks can do anything whites can do, and in some things, better. Just whom would that kind of success threaten?
The same liberal whites, like say, those in Hollywood who think Quentin Tarantino’s lust for the scripted word ''nigger'' is art. The same liberal whites who’ve abandoned the image in the old McDonald’s commercial of a young black male who has a job there for the new (and ugly) hip-hop ''I’m lovin’ it'' campaign. The same liberal whites who voted against the Civil Rights Act in 1964 and today believe blacks are just too f**king stupid to get into UCLA without a further lowering of standards.
Janice Brown is mean, too – vicious, even. Angered that all of her court colleagues disagreed with her opinion on a particular case, she raged that high school students were capable of better legal research. Brown makes a habit of lashing out at those who do not share her troglodyte views.

In the liberal world one should not expect high school students to be capable of better legal research. In fact, since we are only talking about black people, there should not be any expectations at all. Just a stroke on the back and a doggie treat.
Conservative blacks have been trying to ''turn back the clock'' by making our kids meet the same standard as everyone else. If that means forcing inner city schools, that are predominantly operated and ''maintained'' by black Democrats, to TEACH, so be it. If that means less emphasis on basketball and more on books, so be it.
Conservative blacks have been trying to ''turn back the clock'' by wanting to get our people out of the liberal government grasp of welfare dependence. Bill Clinton opposed Welfare reform until his re-election depended on it. Then when the positive results conservatives expected happened, he attempted to take credit for it.
Oh, and before I forget: black conservatives are always being called self-hating. However, author Toni Morrison deemed it appropriate to anoint a dysfunctional white politician ''The First Black President.'' Clinton never invited any black civil rights leader or black elected official to spend a night at the White House during his eight years in office.
Guess he figured they had no money….
Janice Brown’s nomination is opposed by the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights, the Alliance for Justice, AFL-CIO, Alliance for Retired Americans, Americans for Democratic Action, Feminist Majority, NAACP Legal Defense & Educational Fund, Inc., NARAL Pro-Choice America, National Bar Association, National Council of Jewish Women, National Organization for Women, National Senior Citizens Law Center, National Women's Law Center, Natural Resources Defense Council, Planned Parenthood, Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, and the Sierra Club.
Pardon the pun but judging from that crowd, she must be doing something right.
According to the PFAW study, Janice Brown was found unqualified by the American Bar Association (liberal trial lawyers) because she was "prone to inserting conservative political views into her appellate opinions."
Now if she were a liberal and she were inserting liberal political viewpoints into her appellate opinions, all would be as it should be.
For those of you who have read my previous 150 columns, this column may seem redundant, but since CBS and Barbra Streisand hasn’t yet succeeded in rewriting Civil Rights history, my claims of liberal racism stands.
Since we all look alike, we’re all supposed to think alike.
Thank God we don’t.
