The true sinner is someone who pretends to be righteous (like Bush-Cheney, Santorum, Delay, Robertson, Falwell, Dobson etc.) yet in practice conducts business in unethical, greedy, corrupt selfish ways which would deeply disgust Jesus Christ or anyone truly following his teachings. Do you know what prosperity ministries are? They are the ones who are the religion business to make a profit by lying to trick and manipulate people. And in the process they tell you that if you give enough enough to them, then God or Jesus (whom they claim to be personally in contact with) has promised to pay you back tenfold. That's called fraud. These operations are all complete frauds. As are all faith healers, all ministers who recruit for political parties, all religious cults, anyone who argues against the separation of church and state, and anyone who tells you that it's all the liberals fault why you or your kid wants to have sex, get high or do something strange, wild and perverse. I grew up in the deeply christian world of the midwest in the early 60's. Half my family were deep-deep involved in the church, even national church leaders. I can tell you that even the most devout and protective families had alcoholism, homosexuality, insanity and miserable marriages, and even the most liberal had extremely successful, loving straight lives. There is no pattern. In short, the whole Bushie argument that "God is on our side" is not just false and ridiculous, but it's actually very manipulative and evil propaganda spread by people solely out for money and power for themselves. Which makes people like you the suckers in the crowd buying the Brooklyn Bridge. In 2004, John Kerry ran, one of the most honest and righteous leaders in our country. The man has literally never told a lie so far as anyone can tell. He is not only a war hero but a peace-maker and he doesn't have a dishonest bone in his body. He also truly cares about the people not just about himself. He ran against Bush-Cheney, who with Rove in charge, have not told us the truth about a single major issue, and have fleeced and conned us since day one. Plus they lied to get us into an unnecessary war they failed to even plan for. Ironically, Bush-Cheney's supporters think they're the righteous ones and call peace marchers "evil". Jesus Christ would totally disagree. I believe that deep-down rightwingers are afraid of liberals being more moral they they are. After all, the hippies believed in the same thing Jesus did, love and peace. And communists (though I detest the system) believe in taking from the rich and distributing equally (though that system always gets corrupt and never works for long.) So what is the answer? Moderation, honesty, compassion, tolerance and common sense. All things Bushies are sorely lacking.
