Barry Goldwater also couldn't stand rightwing religious types trying to dictate their extremist brand of morality on him. Goldwater is the founder of modern conservatism and I agree with him. By the way, did you know that Pat Robertson predicted the end of the world twice in the 1980's and again in 1999 while he was heavily invested in longterm bonds? These are the type of conmen you religious right folks follow around. They're dishonest, they're hypocrites, they don't practice real Christian values and they're bad for the country. As the founding fathers told us, beware fundamentalist churches trying to inject themselves into government.
