hey dak - no more power? When we were in Ontario in July the word in the news was how expensive the power was to keep the lights on due to the heat wave. Oh yeah - the power was coming from the south. Try to keep your facts straight. Not all is black and white. It seems Ontario is following California power politics. That is one concept you certainly do not want to import.

Well retaliation should make a point and I hope it does but it will not permanently realign our trading relationship, which remains one in which Canada is dependent on American consumption. However, Canadian sanctions against the U.S. would be tremendous if it actually caused the U.S. to accede to the regulatory environment that they have already agreed to be a participant in.
