OK, let's say for the sake of argument that my numbers were wrong. By how much were they wrong? And is that difference enough to change the calculus about which threat is greater, which was the point of my post?

There was not even a hint of a barb attached.

2700 may not be an accurate figure, but the accurate figure would still be a drop in the bucket compared to several hundred million.

If there was no point other that to tell me my numbers were wrong even though the error was not significant enough to affect the point I was making, then what would you call it if not a barb, and an irrelevant and picky one at that?

I gave her more credit than that. My response assumed she had a serious point and I had missed it.
