He's on his own now; he doesn't need Congress The way you play the game now is to say that "there are terrorists and weapons coming down the Ho Chi Minh Trail from Iran which are putting the lives of our troops at risk. Therefore, to protect them, I have ordered B52, 1,2A, whatever to carpet bomb whatever cruise missile whatever. Began 3 hours ago, and we are calling it 'Operation No Approval Needed'".

Pressure should be put on any congressperson that doesn't reject Bush's latest warmongering out of hand. Any that don't should be voted out in 2006. Won't get fooled AGAIN!

W. Rat is right. Bush doesn't need Congress. However, the GOP wants its Congressmen to get re elected and they are worried about 2006 after the recent race in OH. Besides, Bush needs to get a job after his presidency. Since we all know, he's not capable of working, he is really dependent on the largesse of some rich GOPer. Given these restraints, I think he will be forced to be more circumspect in his international dealings. We can only hope.
