"President Bush said "all options are on the table""

Doesn't he know any other phrase? IIRC, he used it before Iraq and during the struggle over Social Security.

A Chatty Cathy has a more varied repertoire...

What I find interesting is he said it on Israeli tv earlier in the week, and not here. Is he confused? Does he think Israelis are his constituency now? Maybe Emile is more right than we give him credit.

Speaking of Israelis, I was watching Sharon on the news yesterday trying to deal with some right wing representatives of the settlers who don't want to leave Gaza. It suddenly dawned on me that this is an example of karma. After all, it was Sharon as Housing Minister who built the most housing units in the occupied territories. Now its he who has to deal with the unhappy settlers.

Later on the same program, they interviewed an Israeli who had moved to Gaza over 30 years ago. He has no intention of leaving. Apparently, the Israelis believed when they moved to the territories, that the territories were to become part of Israel. What a mess.......what a stupid, ridiculous mess. Whose brainstorm was it to occupy the Gaza and the WB in the first place? I'll tell ya.....for all his knowledge and intellect, Man can make some humongous screw ups.
