Afghanistan was a 100% bipartisan effort. It was not Bush's doing. It was the whole world basically supporting a payback for 9-11. But then something went all wrong after Bush let Osama get away at Tora Bora. Suddenly Bush stopped caring about Afghanistan and turned his sights on Iraq.

Iraq is something completely different and much less honest, practical or necessary. In fact, it turns out the entire Iraq invasion was not only based on deliberate lies, but the most rushed and poorly planned war-mongering we have ever seen. The only winners are Exxon and Halliburton. Okay, maybe the Kurds too. But when Saddam gassed the Kurds in the 80's, Reaganites didn't say a word. Rumsfield was then selling arms to Saddam.

It's been long said that the CIA is the biggest drug cartel in the world. Well the US taking control of Afghanistan cuts out the middle man and now the CIA has direct control of the growers and producers. I've heard that instead of an elimination of drug running it's at an all time high from Afghanistan. That's only possible if the American occupation allows it. There is no place in Afghanistan we cannot go!

Something to think about for those who think the USA is a country blessed by God... ancient Israel is the only nation God ever made a covenant with and made promises to.

The success of the USA is largely from having tremendous wealth of natural resources, being populated by an industrious people, and having the natural protection from enemies of two oceans. God has given the Covenant of Jesus Christ to individual Christians and there may be millions of them in the USA as there are millions in every other country on earth and those countries are not rich because of that. America's wealth is not from being a "Christian nation". If that were so then many nations in South America would be wealthy too. God never made a covenant with the USA. That's the legal standing on this issue. Only Israel has promises in their covenant with God. No other nation does.
