Someone Tell the President the War Is Over I've made the point a bunch of times, although all the article seems to say is support for the ongoing presence of US troops in Iraq is on the decline. The war ended when the opposing regime lost power. To call the efforts to assist the Iraqi population with the development of a police and civil defense force a "war" is just poor use of the English language. The war ended a long time ago. Saddam's regime lost, big time. Helping to police Iraq is not a war.
