I remember the race riots of the late 60's. Martial law, including curfews, guards on every corner, etc etc.

also black outs. guards on every corner,, no ammo. just a lone guard on a corner, today he would have been killed by some street gang or shooter just for laughs.

We sure ate a lot of tear gas, at weekend drills for riot control. Must be a year or so of tear gas in me.g

I think CB was getting all worked up over the possibility of Arab-style "Emergency Law". Dictatorship.
