Well, of course I dont have the knowledge those over there do, but IMHO the only significant mistake that may have been made was disbanding the entire Iraqi Army. Maybe that was necessary for reasons I dont know but IMHO it sure would have been easier to rebuild an existing force then start anew. If they had something like a 300,000 force of police and army for security combined with the Coalition 150,000 or so force seems to me would have been a lot easier to police the area. jdn
