This obviously came as a true surprise to the Europeans and unfortunately only confirms the skepticism of Bush and his people.

I see. Since Iran's AM announcement, you took a quick survey of EU leaders and found that they were all starry eyed and disappointed that Iran proceeded to complete its nuclear plant. Only you neocons were clever enough to figure this one out.

In fact, some of the stupidest/most uneducated people I have met in the world are neocons. Furthermore, everyone knew that Iran was proceeding with the plant. Why do you think Bush got behind the EU proposal at the very late date of last week? He knew it would fall flat on its face. And of course, your big mouth criticized me when I suggested that scenario for the Bushies' support.

I wish and I am sure so does Bush that it had come to a different closure than what now seems imminent.

Oh right.......and Santa Claus really does exist. You're beginning to sound like Bill O'Reilly from the supposedly no-spin zone.

Whatever you have to say about this, none of you should now have a chance to argue, that GW didn't give the European positive thinkers a fair chance to work things out in a reasonable way together with the reasonable and peace loving leaders of Iran.

Right. So now he can go ahead and nuke Iran. What's important is not that there be a peaceful resolution to the problem but rather that he made a half ass attempt to support a peaceful resolution. Bombs away!

Unfortunately the Iran leaders now believe the have free hands from all Europe to do what they want in the nuclear department and that old Europe in some way may have a moderating effect on the current and in particular upcoming US government and their reactions to same.

This will eventually show to be as a serious miscalculation as the Saddam invasion of Kuwait with consequences most likely way over those of that time.

LOL. How about the US miscalculation when it invaded Iraq or the Israeli neocon miscalculation when they decided to settle the occupied territories and double the size of Israel? Your arrogance is only superceded by the size of your denial.
