Nixon was no saint, but Cheney tips the balance, being much worse than a dozen Agnews. Cheney is the main liar about Iraq, the main dirty-dealer with Halliburton and energy gouging and shows no remorse at all. Also, Rove is a lot worse than Colson. Colson ended up apologizing to John Kerry in prison. I doubt Rove will apologize to anyone when he goes to prison. Also, Nixon had no one as crooked as Delay running congress, nor as dishonest a rightwing media echo chamber. Yes of course Nixon was much more competent than Bush. When Bush talks without a scripts you want to send him Phonics tape. The man is quite inarticulate and this is an embarassment to the nation. Also, as bad as Vietnam was, Nixon knew much more about war and diplomacy.
