I thought the Germans were into S&M AND oh-so-efficient. Its funny how your view is so different from the standard view of the Germans. Your "standard view of the Germans" is wrong and that is understood by most people today worldwide. Look at their economy, a result of lazy people and the political leadership they deserve. Working <1600 hours a year only spending most of their former "efficient" time now by law converted to vacation on the beaches and other tourist traps worldwide. But IMO and for that very same reason, I don't believe much good will be said about Bush and America in this campaign. No surprise there............what was the number of Germans in the last poll who hated Bush? 80%? More likely 90% now as before the last election won by that useless Schroeder playing that card. No wonder Ted feels so good with his fellow buddies in Germany. Yes, they are nice people. I like them a lot. Here we actually agree, they are nice people. Unfortunately they also traditionally seem to be easy to lead - or to mislead! This time into believing you can survive as country of high standard of living without having to work hard for that. Taro
