But then there's always the question, what created dead rocks, space and matter? What created energy? What created the big bang? No one knows. No one will ever know probably. ANy person who claims to know what God is or what the origins of existence are is a total BS artist. Which is the secret of all religions. As righteous as they try to be, and often are, they don't know shit. They're just worshipping the mystery and giving it form by dressing it up and humanizing it. In fact, the creator or whatever created it all may have nothing to do with humans or earth or this galaxy. Who the F knows? All we do know is that science almost always works. It computes. Creationism and fundamentalists don't compute at all. They believe in myths and political extremist policies. On Jesus, he probably existed in some form, though he was different than advertised. Did he rsie from the dead? Highly unlikely. Since they had no video cameras in those days no one can ever prove anything about Jesus's story is true, except that people wrote about him later and his message of love, peace and forgiveness rocks. In fact, it's mainly what hippies believed in. Early Christians might have even gotten high on sacramental herbs. Most ancient religions did. Bottomline, the religious right is out to lunch. It's a phenomenon so many millions of people believe in something that can never be proven on any level. That is what they call the leap of faith. But it could be a leap into delusion. Muslims and others are no different. Rules for living good lives though, that is important. But no one will every agree on the exact rules.
