I don't agree. I have no idea why we invaded Iraq. All I'm fairly sure of is all the justifications given so far (WMD, "free the Iraqi people", etc.) are bullshit. I think it was a complex of geopolitical reasons, and one was to prevent Iraq from demanding euros for it's oil as it had threatened to. If we strike Iran, it will also be for many reasons, and that will be one of them, but not the only one.

This admin is very friendly with big oil.

Perhaps you should ask different questions.
Why would any country consider PetroEuros over PetroDollars?
Why is the Euro more attractive than US Dollars?

Stability
Who wants to invest in a prolific spender.
