Of course the issue is that one never knows if the the "bull is well in control" until after the fact. PAAS and GLG have had huge % gains of the May low and GG bottomed a long time ago. GG is even making real operating profits at these levels.
Trading around core positions seems like the way to go. You don't get left out of the party but you can take advantage of the volatility.

Why?
Pretty nice moves all around as POG has gone up. Should continue if gold keeps going here. If gold goes down only first class exploration stories will do OK.
IMO the gold bull may be about to kick it up a notch and if it does it will be pretty awesome. The weekly chart of gold is pretty clear if one eliminates all the crap. Looks like $480 is the most likely scenario unless we drop back into the previous trading range.
