RE:"Yes, if the plane was at 30K feet but they claim it was flying much lower. And they don't understand why everyone was so cold. Maybe it was CO2 poisoning......I think that makes you cold."

Pilots have to be on full O2 at 14k feet. It's cold at 14k feet too. CO2 will make you more suseptible to cold, yes.
Likely the pilots screwed up big time.

I read somewhere that the Athens airport officials think the plane was at 7 or 8k feet but maybe it was higher. The whole thing seems weird...............the way that guy sent out the text message. You would have thought they all would be trying to do something to prevent a disaster. And then there were people in the cockpit milling about the co pilot. Presumably the F-16 pilots would have tried to contact the plane.....why didn't these people respond? And where was the pilot? The F-16 pilots only saw the co pilot in the cockpit. I don't know.........the whole thing seems peculiar. I don't think it was terrorists but I think there was a problem on the plane and maybe a window got blown out.

Are you a pilot?
