tigerpaw,

re:The neocons are losing this war.
Their plan was bad from the beginning.
That doesn't mean it wasn't their plan.

What war?

Their plan was the greatest example of military power in history.

They underestimated the peace keeping job.

The neocons are losing this war.

Saddam's regime has been removed from power.

Most of Saddam's upper echelon are in prison awaiting trial.

An Iraqi government has been elected by popular vote of the Iraqi people and is trying to hash out a constitution.

Shias, Kurds, Sunnis and other minorities in Iraq appear to have a higher level of freedom of speech/religion/opportunity than they had under Saddam's regime (where the Sunnis got everything and the others were allowed to.....live).

There is high likelihood of a vote on the constitution and regular election in the winter.

Iraqis are being trained for the Iraqi police and civil defense force which will enhance their ability to right the insurgents.

Insurgents today appear to have no ability to govern anything; rather, the only thing they have demonstrated ability to achieve is to blow up themselves and others.

You call that losing? What in the world would be winning?

Planting a bomb next to a road and blowing up a vehicle is not a sign of victory. It's a sign that the losers aren't yet completely exterminated.
