That still begs the question......where was the pilot?" Unconsious, back trying to get the O2 system to work. Sounds like their O2 system might not have been functional. Normally when you lose pressure like that you take her down lower ASAP even if the O2 is working. Also remember it's -30 degrees F or colder up there.
