As for Curt Weldon, remember that he's trying to sell a book.

That's Podhoretz' comment, John, not mine.

I don't know Weldon, have only recently learned he had a book coming out, and have no sense of whether he might try to sell a book this way. I was simply surprised that Podhoretz would be willing to admit to this. My estimation of him went up.
