I'd grant Iran the sovereignity it already has. We said NOTHING as Israel developed 200-400 nukes. It seems to me Iran has a right and a need for nukes of their own. They are surrounded by nuclear armed neighbors, including us in Iraq. I'd rather they didn't. I'd rather see US reducing our ridiculous amount of nukes, and encouraging the rest of the world to do the same. Bush has pretty much derailed ANY serious non-proliferation efforts. Previous admins of both parties had managed to HALVE the number of nukes held by us and the Russians, and convice S. Africa to abandon their nuke program. It's a work of decades shitcanned by the Bushies.
