Bush may have won the elections on the Iraq issue, which I am not so sure. Winning the election does not give him the blanket OK to do what he wants to. You have to look at some of his domestic initiatives such as SS etc. to conclude that winning an election does not mean that he is right on every issue in the people's mind.

One such issue is Iraq. The American people usually give the President the opportunity to lead this nation on foreign issues such as war etc. But if he fails to provide the proper leadership and in this case a justifiable cause then we can be sure to see efforts such as Cindy Sheehan's get increasing publicity.

Ann coulter was on FOX News and she did foresee a Vietnam like situation coming with Iraq.

Iraq is destined for disintegration after the US withdrawl. And with the disintegration, Middle East instability will follow. That region has been handled with great care by every other past US Presidents except this one who thought that he could force his way through militarily. He is wrong, hundred times over.

He thought Iraq under Saddam was a threat to US interests. We have not seen anything yet. A disintegrated Iraq would even be more dangerous for the US. That threat has already begun with the haggling over the Constitution. Stay tuned.
