Spoke with Spotted Cat (has fleas..). The only negative on places like this we both have found, is that the booze tends to be more money (can't always order a draft) as well as the food. We actually preferred the prices and waitress at the place we went to on St. Clair West. Badali only had used car salesmen working as waiters at night. Although I mentioned the place and surrounding, what I didn't make clear is - Spotted cat and I are real cheap pricks waiting for the bloody gold stocks to take off!!! Our idea of a meeting of the TGSC is some beers and cheap good food (a la St. Clair W) and plenty of talking. Going to a restaurant as fancy as Joe Badalis or Penelopes is something I would take my wife. And even then, I have had enough of the mid-range stuff that we go straight for the high-end Octagons or Senators. Anyways not saying I wouldn't go to a place like this (not as bad $$ as Badalis) but not 100% that I will go either. Anyways nuff said.. (Secluded areas in TO sound more like "minimum 15-20%" tips to me... and quite frankly you gotta work hard to get those numbers)
