Form 8-K for VIROPHARMA INC -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15-Aug-2005 Regulation FD Disclosure Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure Effective August 16, 2005, ViroPharma Incorporated (the "Company") is implementing a price increase to wholesalers for sales of Vancocin Capsules in the United States. The wholesale acquisition cost for a 20 unit package of 125 mg Vancocin Capsules will increase from $195.76 to $242.10 and a 20 unit package of 250 mg Vancocin Capsules will increase from $368.86 to $446.32. This price increase was not contemplated by the guidance issued by the Company on August 2, 2005.
