That one was about Brigham Young. He was Joe Smith's successor, who led the Mormons to "the promised land" in Utah after they'd been run out of Illinois. The TRUE story about him would be a hoot too, but I find Joseph Smith much more interesting. After all, he FOUNDED the whole wacky religion.

In a way, it's really unfair, since the Mormon faith was founded in 1830, and there were plenty of contemporary people writing about it. The older religions have had centuries to hide their warts, cons and political battles.

Joe Smith strikes me as a kind of a David Koresh's American dream, come true. It'd be a GREAT movie.
