You don't get to go around the globe removing "brutal" dictatorships willy nilly. That isn't how international law works. And we DID start a civil war- by removing Saddam we started the war. Saddam kept the factions controlled- we removed that control, and let the fighting begin. You want to "remove" brutal leaders, you take responsibility for the obvious consequences attendant to the removal. Or you can try to worm out of the responsibility- but I don't think anyone rational will think that makes sense.

Some around here seem oblivious to the fact that those people have been at war with each other for dozens of centuries. Placing the responsibility for their coming 'civil' war on the U.S. is absurd.
