And then one needs to take a look at the structure that kept Clinton from firing whats-his-name, the director Now that they have gone to seven year terms for the FBI director, it's almost impossible to fire one. You can control him if you have the moral authority to do so. Clinton's "Monica" problem allowed the director to laugh at him. The extent of the damage caused by "Monica" to this nation will never be known for sure. I am sure it slowed him down on Al Qaeda. Clinton lost what little respect the military had left for him after it happened. Every time he suggested something they came back with a "rain dance."
