Anyhow the geology is interesting as the real shot are these high grade deposits mantos I guess, and the idea that maybe this gold is widespread in a "carlin" type style. I guess a lot of it lying around all over the plaace but in small size? Donno would have to look at the tech report again. Plenty of gold in the Trebol system eh? <g> Tom <<It is evident gold occurs in several environments on the Trébol Property and mineralization discovered is of considerable merit.>> <<Four (4) holes testing the down-dip extent of the intersecting structures forming the Canelas Mine chimney—as the lowest level of the workings near the end of the crosscut yielded a gold value of 29.4 g/tonne,>> WE shall see said the blind man: <<To summarize, although Manto Chimney deposits do occur in the Taraises, the large tonnage potential is in the Caja below the thrust plate, which is the primary target. There is a striking similarity to “Carlin” in the average gold and silver content and its association of the precious metals with toxic elements, an association considered diagnostic of the “Carlin-type” of gold deposit. Other similarities include reactive host rocks, intensive brecciation, and a genetic relationship with folding and high-angle conjugate faults. Differences between the two deposits include age of the host and the absence of silicification which manifests itself in “Carlin systems” of Nevada in the form of jasperoid. Consequently, if a deposit is discovered in the Trébol Range, the Canelas style of mineralization is a sub-class to the classification of classic “Carlin style” of mineralization because of lack of silicification.>>BLACK OUT BINGO: <<Hole 3 encountered 40 m of mineralization where the samplers said they could pan gold.>>corexgold.com Looks good to me the untrained eye.
