>>> FNM getting beat up. Everything is headed south. Too late to short? <<<

I would look for a 3-5 bar reversal pattern. The same pattern that works when going long, works when going short when it is reversed.

In other words, I would wait for price to rise at least 3-5 days in a row and then look to short it.

If you look at the selling volume, we may be witnessing a climatic sell off increasing the odds of seeing that 3-5 bar reversal.

The opposite of FNM ...are the Japan Real Estate companies

Mitsuibishi Estate MITEY JP:8802

Tokyu Land TOLAY JP:8815

Plot them against Fannie May for the past 2 months - pretty good inversion, including and upward acceleration to match FNM's down ward acceleration that starts about August 6.

These guys are zooming.

Tolay and Mitey can be bought in some US accounts. I was able to get tolay in my Schwab account.

If you can't buy these look at NMR, Nomura securities, and MLEA, an insurance company.

Draw your own macro economic conclusions from this, it may be significant. I just want to get on board.
