What theories of evolution are you reading that do not cover the origins of life?

Evolve means change.
All of the minor variations in evolutionary theory are about how life changes into other arrangements of life. None of the theory has any hard results before the formation of DNA.

There are theories of origins, and they are about to be more closely studied.

>What theories of evolution are you reading that do not cover the origins of life? If evolution contends we descended from amoebas, no sense in hiding your assumption where the amoebas came from.

Science doesn't have to have "assumptions..." Science has to have a reason, however miniscule to believe something.
