I like the BSC chart, and may yet join you. But the seasonality is real. Over a period of many years it was shown to have a significant impact. True, during the great rally of 2003 the only reaction was just some zigging and zagging during the summer months... but last year's August low was very important, and it was tested in October. I'd say 2004 qualifies.

Besides, last year was the strongest year of the 4 year cycle. Now we are supposed to have entered the bad part. Those things are weired... real time, it's hard to believe that they'll make a difference, but looking at long term charts, it's obvious that there is certainly something there.
