Now this is sort of interesting. Japan has AGAIN apologized for WW2, and evidently the Prime Minister has decided to stop visiting Yasukuni shrine (which honors Japan's war dead, including those convicted in the Japanese "Nuremburg" trials). Now I'll bet that even though Japan's neighbors (especially China) have called for both of those things repeatedly, the neighbors will act as if neither occurred, and just keep telling Japan how bad it was and that it needs to apologize again tomorrow.
