I'm not calling anyone a crook...but it will be interesting to see how Mr. Bush handles any indictments that come out of the Grand Jury. Sure, innocent until proven guilty, but grand jury indictments do have a certain stigma to them.

If half the smoke out there has any fire to it, someone in the inner circle, Rove, Libby, ?, is going to come out of this badly tarnished, if not indicted. It won't help any national perception of Mr. Bush.

Let the process run its course before we call anyone a crook. I do recall your past statements on this subject, including that an indictment should spell the end to an advisor's role.

I would imagine that the special prosecutor would have to provide strong evidence to the panel of judges in order to seek their permission to proceed with the investigation beyond a certain point. Starting from Watergate, Ollie North to the Lewinsky affair, we all know when the investigation reaches a certain stage, there is something to it. With the Karl Rove and the Libby issue it is serious. My calling him a crook and your defending him is immaterial.

We know something serious is up with the Plame case and Rove is in the middle of it given his past 'crooked' actions with Ann Richards, John McCain and John Kerry, to say the least.

Cheney may be implicated in Plamegate, plus Rove.
