Elroy one of the most interesting characters I have met on SI, he go off on wild tagents like gerrymander, read much history and such - but seem no where near as abstract as people that go deep into such things - has managed to stay a little more mainstream for all those memes he is exposed too. I have enjoyed reading his history lessons on many things although I still disagree with him on gold being necessary in modern times. AS for their difference, I don't know - there is much hate there it seems from elroy to grace. Perhaps a battle of ego - they both seem to take thier internet persona's on SI too seriously it seems sometimes - hehe - who needs DAYS OF OUR LIVES - I enjoy thier little soap operas - hehe. Its like watching krugman and kudlow do economic theory battle - so much fun.

Elroy just likes folks who stick to the facts -- and Elroy doesn't suffer fools gladly.

When it was brought to her attention that her "facts" are wrong and she has no documentation to support her wild assertions, she could have gracefully said, "I must be mistaken" and move on. Instead she is incapable of admitting to having made a mistake, which is pretty sad.

If Elroy could fire her, she would have done so a long time ago, along with Tradelite - another BS artist who trades in made up "facts".
