That reminds me that there was quite a bit of discussion around here a while ago about what did or did not happen during the American Revolution. I just finished David McCullough's book,1776, and I think a lot of people are in for some surprises if and when they read it. Well-documented, too.

John, I don't consider you loyal to an ideological framework. That would be like saying Pamela Sue Anderson is loyal to being a big busty blond. I'm sure she never gives it a second's thought.
