During the Reagan years, people said some pretty bad things about him. Looking at some of the voodoo theories of economics represented by the Laffer curve, his adminstration was hinging on some pretty radical theories. Look, the Berlin Wall collapsed and the guy was a hero. Bush has 3 years to reduce our forces in Iraq to an acceptable level (if any). That is the only thing I want to see. I don't think it will be possible to judge Bush for a long time to come.

Ironically, Carter may have been the worst President out of the last 5, but he was the most mindful. He kind of reminded me of where Kerry was going to take this country. Maybe we could have included Arabic as a 3rd language, with voluntary prayers only 3 times a day.<g>
