Nor me either.

Gold can certainly rally some from here, but the risks are very high given the huge commercial short position.

I am long Japan though, and plan to hike my position on the first decent pullback which may have already begun.

Mish:

An independent report on GSL last night has moved the estimate up from 6 million ounces to 10 million .... and "still open in all directions".

Meantime, Goldcorp raised $500 million a week ago to add to its $400 million cash horde and owned up yesterday to the fact that it is on an acquisition hunt for "reserves".

Old Earlie has a huge grin as he systematically recommended (and of course acquired) this stock over the past two years.

At this end, I would be surprised if we don't see a bidding war before year end.

Best, Earlie
