My parents are great, but they have other grandchildren! His other grandparents are challenging at best!

There is much to learn and not enough time. Yep, sadly they don't come with instruction manuals. Sadder yet they are about 18 when you really get the program figured out which makes you a great grandparent:) My wife tells me I'm mean but I sometimes take great joy in telling my 2 daughters when they are here crying and begging for answers that I can't understand why they would be asking me anything since I'm the meanest, dumbest, asshole of a parent they or their friends have ever seen. LOL, paybacks are a bitch:)
