Hi Bill, They are still into electronic measurement. I think A is giving up the idea of breaking into Dram - that is and will be in the realm of Japanese and S.Korean firms. Can't really say about SOC. Global leader in test is Advantest and they're a competitor of A.I think A would like to have the same business model as Advantest. Cohu's margins create some jealousy in the test world.If you bought the company and discounted the testhandler - you could make inroads on the vastly more expensive tester. Just makes sense to fight fire with fire as Advantest makes testhandlers also. JMHO Good to hear from you Bill -please post more often with your perspective. Bob
