Thanks Longislandguy, I don't know if it is a once in a lifetime deal, if so, many recent investors are not going to gain knowledge to ever help them in the future. They won't get a second chance to use this failure to become wiser for the next opportunity. Seems bubbles that a few centuries ago only came every 100 years are coming every 5 or 6 years today - many more bubbles. So perhaps there will be several more bubbles over the rest of my lifetime.

It perhaps is creating false expectations for many neophytes on what is rational. Buffet says he couldn't time the tech bubble, so he stayed out altogether, he missed a lot of gains, I don't know if I agree with that. Many people made the gains and had protections in place to keep those gains and did not get wiped out - it will be interesting to see this bubble play out.
