Wouldn't the Rush Limbaugh story naturally garner much more mainstream media attention than the Air America one? For one simple reason. Rush Limbaugh is a far more established and widely known media figure than Air America. So, naturally the media covers it accordingly.

Rush being accussed of using prescription drugs illegallly is a big story given his fame and past positions taken against drug users. If anything, Rush's lofty position in society might be helping him avoid prosecution. Would some poor flunkie in Florida caught doing the same drugs illegally be sitting in jail awaiting trial. Perhaps.

Perhaps the Air America "scandal" really isn't a scandal at all, as it is a loan, and loans by their nature imply that there is a grace period for repayment. Is Air America going past that grace period. Have they demonstrated that they have no intentions on repaying this loan. If no, then what exactly is scandalous about a struggling media outfit receiving a loan?
