Border Patrol holding 7 Verizon subcontractors

Seven Verizon subcontractors working in Cicero who are suspected of being illegal immigrants have been turned over to the U.S. Border Patrol.

The work crews from HK&L of Missouri were installing new fiber-optic cable underground, Cicero police said.

An investigation into the workers' status and into whether the company knew of their lack of paperwork is continuing.

RE electrician, HVAC, Shades already meet many recent migrants in both Tampa area and Palm beach area who are working for home depot and sears type sub contractors.

It seems within just a short time becoming plumbers and electricians, what bothered shades in dealing with these people Vosilla, they already had attitudes that they deserved maximum top dollar pay after only being here a few months working for home depot/sears sub contractor. I met a water heater installer that was here from ukraine for only 3 months - I paid home depot 200 bucks to get a top dollar plumber with years of experience - shades had to show this recent immigrant how to hook up the water heater - he had only heard of teflon tape - had never seen the stuff - this is a 200 dollar an hour plumber??? :( . Here was the scenario - the pressure relief valve was leaking - his suggestion - brand new water heater from home depot was broken - take it back - get new water heater - I say silly silly immigrant, this is brand new, we just need to tighten the pressure relief valve a little - here give me your wrench - 2 twists it was fixed - oh my god Vosilla this make Shades very very angry - hehe. My jaw was literally gaping at the basic common sense of this 200 dollar per hour person home depot had sent to service me.

A recent cuban that was a plumber for another problem, I think he had been here a little over a year - and a brazilian air condtioner guy working for sears that had not been here quite a year - he also was of very low quality and damaged my wall. The service was that of a recently quickly trained worker, but they were mentally expecting RATES equivalent to 20 year professionals - I bring this point up with the Cuban plumber and he say call someone else and get very angry.

Anyways the guys at lake worth area Home Depot tell me there far too many of these types out working on the homes doing very subpar work and the code violations were very frightening to him. It convince me to sell palm beach investments - I suspect this supbar work will come back to haunt many investors. 200 dollars for a plumber that has been here 3 months and never seen teflon tape and cant screw in a pressure relief valve - OH MY GOD - this still make shades angry - hehe.
