Two people died and they get an international audience. Salafis kill 47 people today in suicide bombings and no one cares. The leaks in the press are simply ridiculous. Why are people leaking this kind of info? Why did the British leak the news about the guy they shot in the subway? Whatever happened to classified info?

You would care if that Brazilian had been your cousin or your brother. You would care if that Afghan had been your father. Both men were decent, innocent people. The Afghan had two small children. He was shy and uncomfortable around a lot of people. He drove a taxi cab. They beat him so badly his muscles split apart. He was innocent.

As a kid, the Brazilian built a radio from scratch even though their farm had no electricity. He was someone that everyone liked. He came from a decent family who no longer has their son and brother. They shot him seven times in the head.......he was terrified. He was innocent.

Who did what to you to make you this insensitive?

And I do care that people are getting killed by suicide bombers but that does not make it okay for us to kill innocent people as well. Two wrongs do not make a right.

I thought the government had the right to lock up this kind of information for 25 or 50 years as part of national security. Oh well, the salafis are entitled to their free right to rape, torture, and kill without Western criticism.

This is still a democracy.

I don't think the military abuses should go unpunished. However, I don't think the civilian press has a right to publish military court martials for an extended period of time. It's not like we are going to see any of the terrible things the salafis are doing to innocent Iraqis or Western soldiers.

The reports are coming out now because there is trial underway. That is news.

The press has a right to publish both sides of the conflict. To date, they only get outraged by isolated examples of abuse or torture. They seem to condone the serial killings of innocent Iraqis as being, well, perfectly natural. Even worse, they just blame Bush for the suicide bombs.

The press reports ad nauseum the suicide bombings. Where have you been?

Its sounds to me like you don't like having the truth out on the table. You don't want to accept that at times, Americans can be guilty of some of the things that terrorists do.

Well no one has ever gained by hiding the truth.
