El Paso and Austin for starters. They both have lower murder rates.

Being fair Kenneth , I only mentioned it because of your constant attacks on Texas. Kinda silly really.

The murder rates in Texas, California, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington etc are due to an over-representation of criminal immigrants. Washington DC...well I suppose you would have to research the ethnic population and discover that.

OH-Gov: Taft to Face Four Criminal Charges
Posted by Tim Tagaris
Ohio's Gov. Bob Taft is minutes away from becoming the first Governor of the state to face criminal charges in relation to undisclosed gifts. It's going to be four misdemeanors as reported by the Ohio News Network and Columbus Dispatch. There is a press conference originally scheduled for 2:45 that looks like it will actually take place closer to 3:15 P.M.

Hypothetically Speaking and Grow Ohio will have updates throughout the day.

It's not just Ohio. Bush is very unpopular in big MO as well (38% Approval), almost as bad as Ohio. The Rs are in big trouble in 2008. Without MO or OH, they aren't going to win the White House.

How much "better" can things get by November 2008? Oil prices are likely to be higher. The economy will probably be in the crapper because of rising oil prices. Iraq is likely to be dragging on with perhaps 3,000 Americans dead (equal to the 9/11 attacks).

Missouri Bush 38% Approve 58% Disapprove -20%

If things are this bad now in the fall of 2005. What's it going to look like in three years? 2008 might be a Democratic landslide like 1932 all over again. I can't see how a Republican could win the Presidency in 2008 with the current job aproval numbers Bush is putting on the board?!?
