I wasn't snookered by the chimp at all ... I thought from the beginning that it was a mistake to invade Iraq and that it would, in fact, turn into a debacle. Afghanistan should have been handled covertly for that matter.

My main area of astonishment has been the chimp's reelection despite almost nothing going right in his first term. I'm also a tad bit mystified by the media's failure to launch a full frontal attack on his criminal regime. Every time a left-wing oriented person appears on CNN, a right-wing Christian zealot or someone of their ilk is there to laugh at him so CNN can appear to be "fair and balanced."

Another area that has undergone a reexamination by me is the nature of the American people. I have concluded that they are irrationally religious and rather stupid in their war-mongering desires. All of this was diagnosed rather correctly by the chimp. That's why he got away with manipulating the people with paranoia after September 11, 2001.

I doubt the media in Israel cooperates with manipulating the people with fear to the same degree as is done here in the United States. I'd be curious as to the degree to which "security watch" and "terror alert" bullshit spots occur on the BBC in England too. There are times when over half of CNN's coverage relates to such shit.
