Something occurred to me a little while ago regarding Cindy Sheehan. Democrats have embraced her with open arms, but none of the super liberals are complaining about the her makeshift memorial with hundreds of crosses on public land. Interesting...

I'd say the difference is as soon as she goes home, if the memorial stays, it will rapidly be thrown in the garbage. It won't become some government symbol of something. I don't think there's any law against carrying your cross around with you and standing next to it, whether you're on government land or not.

Because she's not being paid by the government to put it up!!!

I certainly don't care if someone walks into Yellowstone and puts up a memorial with a cross; I'm just unhappy if the ranger does.
