well its down 12 premarket so yeah, not great timing- I'm trying to figure out what to do here, stock is probably too big to bounce back right away. Down 12 seems like a bit of an overreaction... what to do, what to do

Is there a good reason why this is NOT simply a preparation for SP500 addtion? Didn't Qualcomm do exactly the same thing when they were included in SP500? It could well be that large funds managers demanded the shares and Goolge's willingness to pocket the cash.

It is in the company's long-term interest not to have a price spike due to index activity. Isn't it?

FUNNY all the analysis point to other directions

On the Yahoo message board I'm hearing $295 for the secondary which sounds about right. Anyone have official confirmation?
