That statement was a generalized diatribe of a satirical nature. It did not have GUY's name on it.

No matter what investors expect, not every play can win.

As a matter of fact, no matter the competency of the people, and the money available, mother earth and mother market have the last word on mines.

I cannot fairly describe an eight-mine-to-date aggregation as purely promotional.

Promotion is a necessary evil in this game, as if one does not do it, nobody gets interested enough to buy share one.

Mining promotion is somewhat like Eric the Red addressing a grade school class who have come to the dock to inspect a longboat. He says to them in all seriousness, "So how many of you kids would like to see the New World! Free Lollipops for every hand on an oar!"

Finding America is a great idea, but it is not everyone's cup of tea to be in the boat.

Did you know that shares in the New World ventures were sold on the Reykjavik stock exchange in 900 AD? I am not kidding. Also time sharing for "Booths" on Sable Island were sold by Thorvald.

I may name a company Wild Grapes Ventures. L'Anse Aux Meadows is the site of North America's first Iron Mine and smelter.
